Team Leopard’s New Kit?

06/01/2011 1 comment

Hey look, it’s the new Team Leopard… and they’re all wearing scarves?

Wow. I haven’t seen so many scarves on men all at once since the Amber Lounge Fashion show in Monaco. LOL

Remember these photos?

Let’s not forget these other guys who also enjoy their scarves:

Well, there’s nothing wrong with scarves. I don’t know who is stealing whose style now though. 😉

A new bag

Mr. Dolphin brought a new man bag to Abu Dhabi. The black and red bag looks like something Puma would produce. Though it looks a bit like faux leather, the bag could be something more high end.

Sutil was also wearing his metallic Reeboks again. I initially thought the shoes were gold, but after a bit of research I believe Sutil owns the bronze Reebok EX-O Fit. These shoes are also available in silver and gold colors… did Sutil choose the prettiest one?

If you are interested in these shoes, they can be purchased at Rakuten.

Want to be like Adrian Sutil?

No, it’s not necessary to make a trip to an aquatic park. coughcough. Sutil was seen in Melbourne with an attractive man-bag and now if you fancy it… you can channel the spirit of Sutil with a John&Mary bag.

Sutil does not use John&Mary bags, but they are close enough to his bag in my opinion. The price isn’t too bad either. They range from $79 – $129 USD. A detachable shoulder strap will add an additional $16 – $25 USD depending on the size of the bag.

Here’s a photo of the whole collection of the John&Mary “classic carry all” bags:

Oddly… I kind of want one in the small size. What is wrong with me? First I want to be like Nick Heidfeld with a crossbody bag… and now I want to be like Sutil. @_@

If I cave to these temptations, I suppose I can post photos of F1 Drivers vs. thepitwalk. I don’t like losing though! >_< But maybe it will be good entertainment for the readers?

Another Driver Contest

All right, this one isn’t based on physical appearance. But, which driver has the best/worst handwriting?

Wow. This is a tough call. Everyone’s handwriting is awful! Though to be fair they had to write at an awkward angle on the board. Hm.. should I rate it based on “potential” to look decent? If that’s the case, Webber might be the “best.” The M and W are about the same size and well spaced. But Timo’s handwriting could be all right too… As for worst, it’s a toss up. They all look pretty bad. However, Vettel’s Buemi’s B looks especially ugly and Jarno can compete with doctors in terms of messy nearly illegible scrawl…

eh… I DON’T KNOW. Can’t decide!

Double Take … Adrian Sutil

I thought the above photo was a rather “glamorous” photo of Sutil looking a bit model-esque. Imagine what I was thinking when I saw the following photo in my Google Reader feed:

!!!

Doesn’t Baptiste Giabiconi remind you of ADRIAN SUTIL? OK, maybe it’s just his hair that makes me think of Sutil. Wouldn’t all the driver photos in front of the fancy yachts and water look so much better shot like this fashion photo? I THINK SO. All right, I’m not really a fan of what Baptiste is wearing… but this would be the general concept in terms of lighting and such. It’s much more dramatic and appealing to me. The drivers currently look like “fake tourists” during their first visit to Monaco. ~_~;;;

Bernie … hire me to do the publicity, I have a lot of “weird ideas.” =P

F1’s Top Models?

16/05/2010 6 comments

The F1 drivers try out modeling (for charity). But it looks like Timo Glock is easily distracted, he reminds me of a perverted old man here. ~_~;; I’m sorry Timo, you are not F1’s top model.

Let’s have a look at some of the drivers on the runway.

Di Grassi looks highly awkward here… sorry di Grassi, you are not F1’s top model either. I do like his blazer and scarf, but I’m not sure about those white pants.

Dolphin Sutil seems to have a pretty natural walk and his outfit is casual… I can see him wearing something similar in his normal day to day life. But what is with that scarf? The way it is tied reminds me of an elderly woman. Should he be in the running for F1’s top model?

Normally I would say Hamilton is “top model” material… but not this time. The way he’s holding his hand against his stomach is awkward… does he have a stomachache or something?

Liuzzi is also wearing a casual outfit. I wonder what the text on his t shirt says. He is carrying a man-bag that reminds me of the white bag that Sutil owns. This outfit is really similar to Sutil’s, except things look a bit big for him… note the long jacket sleeves and cuffed jeans. Sorry Liuzzi, I’m afraid I can’t choose you as the top model.

Oh look, it’s Leonardo di Caprio… my bad, it’s actually Nico Rosberg. I can’t help notice the amount of buttons he has undone for his dress shirt… and of course the pant length. Maybe he is the next top model of F1? I’m not sure, he seems like he’s trying a bit too hard.

Timo has a nice shirt and tie combination here, which coordinates nicely with the suit. But unfortunately, he is already out of the running to be the top model.

Lastly is Wolfman Algersuari. He seems at ease on the runway, as long as he is liquored up maybe? haha. With his striking coloring, he could be the top model of F1.

So what do you think? It’s a bit hard to decide… but who should be the top model of F1? Should overall photogenicity be taken into account? Hmm…. I’ll have to think it over, but here’s one last photo. Food for thought so to speak.

Sutil Joins the Man-Bag Bandwagon

Well, not exactly. I can see how a bag is convenient for toting around essentials to the track. Anyway… Dolphin Adrian Sutil has been spotted in Melbourne toting this cream colored duffel with chocolate brown accents. I think amongst all the drivers he has the largest bag now (excluding suitcases) and the most high maintenance one*!

The bag-whore in me wonders if the bag is made of cream leather or canvas. How does this bag rank compared to the other F1 drivers? I like the overall shape of it and the fact that it has a large storage capacity. But, Nick Heidfeld is still the man-bag king of my heart.

* It will be semi high maintenance due to the light color of the bag… though it looks quite clean now.

Update:
It seems I was overly focused on Sutil’s bag. When I looked at this photo in more detail, I noticed his shoes. Sutil is wearing metallic gold leather tennis shoes. Umm…sure, metallics are certainly in. Haha. I’m not sure what brand makes these shoes though…

Update #2:

It appears that the trim on Sutil’s bag is alligator or crocodile stamped leather (I can’t tell the difference between the patterns). The brown appears to have red tones as well.
