Battle of the Annoying Facial Hair
While Hamilton is indeed one of the F1 Top Pretty Boy Models, his fascination with “interesting” facial hair is quite disappointing. I understand that he likes to stand out from the rest, but doing it with facial hair is rather unnecessary. As I’ve mentioned in many previous posts, his experimentation comes off as a “teenage rebellion” from McLaren’s strict clean cut image. He seems to push the limit just a bit further to see how much he can get away with. It might be cool if Hamilton was pushing satorial boundaries perhaps a la Liuzzi. Cause let’s face it, if you exceed a certain tacky threshold, it can become cool (well, cool is relative. I never cared for Liuzzi’s style personally). Well, maybe I’m wrong and Hamilton IS approaching that stage… he is getting tackier by the moment. =X
Case in point… his chin curtain has now grown:

But Hamilton is not alone. Alonso has been sporting an equally tacky soul patch lately:
Oh my. Will 2012 become a year where the drivers battle for the title of Most Annoying Facial Hair? This is certainly one battle I could do without. The Ugly Sunglasses Championship is so much better.

LOL! I have to agree… Lewis’ facial hair is pretty bad… well… okay… really bad xD
Fernando kinda suits his… mind you, that whole ‘devil chin’ moustache thing that he has sported for the last 2 years (like the one in the photo minus the stubble) isn’t the greatest look… it even has its own special appearance of the year. And that is when they unveil the car xD He ends up looking like the Devil in red =P
And Sebastian also has a special look he starts the year with… looking like Shaggy from Scooby-Doo x’D He always lets his hair grow and grows stubbly facial hair… Shaggy.
lol… Seb doesn’t bother me that much this year. I think Lewis’ is just so much worse that Seb looks good. x_X
Well, Seb seems to always have some form of stubble going on now… he’s like… rarely clean shaven any more. He’s turned in to Mark. Puberty really is over for Seb =P
Besides, stubble is common and pretty much ‘normal’ (as bad as Seb & Jenson’s grows). What Lewis has done to himself however, most certainly is not xD
Yeah Alonso is ok though whenever I see men with the ‘devil chin’ or goat fluff I feel like grabbing a razor and shaving the hair off.
Lewis’s hair seems to require some careful shaving ie he needs to be careful + make an effort not to ruin the shape…still it’s his man earrings I can’t stand!
hahaha omg… yeah if only I could shave them both.
Lewis’ earrings don’t bother me that much, a lot of guys wear earrings around here so I’ve grown accustomed to it. What I’m more interested in is the number of pairs Lewis owns.
He prob has many pairs! I only recall the black ones and the diamond ones but there must be more, he seems like a ‘bling’ kind of person.
