While Liuzzi is waiting for the final say about driving for HRT, let’s talk about what really matters: what Liuzzi wore to testing.
hmm, it looks rather confused, doesn’t it? While I do like the toggle coat and Liuzzi’s grandmother’s scarf, the cap just doesn’t go well with what he is wearing. Did he get dressed in the dark or something? =X
Anyway, I am quite fond of toggle coats and I will share a few of my favorite ones for men:
At the risk of “one upping” Liuzzi, I think this scarf/stole is a Liuzzi x EJ collaboration:
If you like this scarf, you may purchase it at revolve clothing for about $85 USD (Distinkt Cotton/Cashmere Plaid/Floral scarf).
Spring (and the start of the F1 season) will be here before we know it. I thought it would be nice to do a sort of “virtual shopping” post for the pretty and fabulous WAGs of F1.
Are you ready? This will be a rather long post as I found tons of cute lil dresses for the lovely ladies. My picks are a combination of: what I think certain WAGs would wear, what I think would look good on certain WAGs, and things I like.
The question for the readers is… can you tell which is which?
I thought I would do an update on the Prada eyebrow sunglasses, since they are for sale near me. They are available in a few colorways: black with red brows, tan with black brows, tan with red brows, and white with black brows. There is also an all black pair in the same exaggerated shape.
I tried them on and I have to say… I don’t look as good as these models do in them. It probably has to do with my bone structure (or lack thereof). Sad to say, they probably look better on those with more of a nose bridge. It’s not that my bridge is non-existent, but it is less generous than say… a Caucasian person. Anyway, the look is a little questionable on me because I have dark brows that peek slightly over the frame, much like the model below:
Of course, everyone is dying to know how much they cost right? Don’t worry, I checked the tag at the store and you can own these for $245 USD! I still don’t know if these were produced or how the store got a hold of them… but yeah. You don’t have to buy on ebay if you love them, they are available at a reputable and upscale department store.
Despite the semi-bizarreness of them… I almost wanted to get a pair for styling photoshoots. I know, it’s a disease. Worry not, I purchased something else instead. hah. -_-;;;
It’s common knowledge that Vitaly Petrov at times looks very much like a hit man, serial killer, or what have you. Maybe not… I’m not quite that influential. But fair is fair and I came across some photos of Petrov at Jerez where he looked *gasp* FRIENDLY!
See, it’s not so bad. Like the quiet before the storm … or before he reaches for the concealed gun and shoots
you me. =X
Just kidding… Petrov is in the middle of photographing an advertisement campaign*:
How did he do? I think Petrov did a fine job. The watch he wore was the TW Steel Chronograph Tech 45mm Black PVP case TW128, which retails for about $750 USD. I’m not really sure I like the combination of brushed steel and black rubber, but I’m not a man and I don’t “get” men’s watches anyway.
Here are some photos for watch aficionados :
I do think their packaging leaves much to be desired. It’s so… utilitarian. Ick.

Michael Schumacher seems to have an extraordinary love for dragons. I believe he had dragons on his race shoes last year as well. Anyway, our dear Schumi has been photographed in Jerez wearing this red puffer jacket. Please note the red dragon embroidery as well as the Chinese character for “power” near the dragon’s foot. By the way… I find it interesting that the dragon on Schumi’s jacket only has four claws (or talons?). For those who don’t know, historically only imperial dragons worn by the emperor can have five claws. Just saying…
Oh and if you fancy a puffer jacket like this one… I’m not sure where you’d be able to snag one. The overly shiny fabric reminds me of Moncler, but I don’t think they usually do embroideries like this. I could be wrong though, because Moncler is not very common here where I live (it’s not that cold here…).
For those feeling a little nostalgic, here’s an old live performance of “Puff the Magic Dragon”
